Benjamin Bruening, PE, Senior Project Manager

Ben worked in Philadelphia’s non-profit sector for a number of years before returning to Temple University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2011. Since then, he has amassed a diverse resume ranging from the design of new higher education buildings, mission-critical data centers, and parking garages to existing building restorations and renovations for clients such as the University of Pennsylvania, The College of New Jersey, and Gensler. As an O&N Project Manager Ben calls on his experience to primarily support facade and garage restoration projects. Ben is also an active member of ASCE, DVASE, ICRI, and APT.

Zachary Tauber, EIT, Senior Project Designer

Zach earned a Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 2016. He joined O&N this past summer with more than two years of experience. Zach primarily focuses on new structural design and existing renovation projects at O&N. He is currently supporting design of a Fortune 500 Company’s new corporate headquarters, a mixed-use hotel and entertainment development, and a K-12 school auditorium expansion, among others.

Nicole Brooks, EIT, Project Designer

Nicole earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2016. She joined O&N in early 2018 and over the past year has helped to design a wide range of new structures including two replacement hospitals, a micro-hotel tower, parking garages, an office building, and a senior living facility. Nicole primarily focuses on new structural design and existing renovation projects at O&N. She is a member of AISC and the Society of Women Engineers.

Andrew Jones, Engineering Co-op

Andrew is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University (class of 2020). This trimester his education is taking place outside the classroom on active job sites and in the office with O&N team members. Andrew is helping to support a number of structural and restoration projects across various sectors including mixed-use, education, hospitality, municipal, and parking.
