O'Donnell & Naccarato provided structural engineering services for a 2-story vertical expansion and renovation of an existing 6-story building. The new framing consisted of light-framed construction to minimize the additional vertical loading on the existing columns and foundations. The addition created 84 loft and 1-4 bedroom units, which range from 850 to 4,300 SF, as well as 86 parking spaces that utilize an automated parking system. The center portion of 3 existing floors was removed to create a courtyard at the 2nd level and to allow bedrooms with windows overlooking the open space on the existing floors. This required new concrete shear walls located throughout the remainder of the building to resist the new wind and seismic loads and restore the lateral restraint of the original building.

The building's facade also received an update, newly clad in limestone, metal panel, and glass.
