AtlantiCare George F. Lynn Harmony Pavilion

Location: Atlantic City, NJ
Architect: Stantec Architecture, Inc.

O'Donnell & Naccarato provided structural engineering services for George F. Lynn Harmony Pavilion, the new 178,000 SF patient care addition -the largest expansion/renovation project since AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center was founded in 1898. The capital improvement project also includes renovation of 23,000 SF of existing hospital space.

The new addition includes a 9-story patient tower which houses an emergency department, diagnostic imaging suite, radiology department, behavioral health area, four medical-surgical floors with 30 private inpatient rooms each, an intensive care unit with 26 private rooms, and two floors designed for future expansion and/or relocation of existing services. The roof was designed to accommodate a helipad with a trauma stabilization room that connects directly to the emergency department by elevator, and a mechanical penthouse. A 190' pedestrian bridge links to Caesars Atlantic City's parking garage.
