The Courtyard Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard is the first hotel to be constructed at the historic former U.S. Naval facility located on the Delaware River in Philadelphia. O’Donnell & Naccarato provided structural engineering design services for the 5-story, 172-room hotel. The 100,000 SF structure consists of 4 stories of hotel space over 1 story of amenity space with a ground-floor bar, a lounge and dining area, a fitness room, and 2,000 SF of meeting space. The exterior of the structure is clad in a composite metal panel rainscreen, which helps to reduce the building's overall heat gain and energy consumption.

Courtyard Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard was honored by AIA's Philadelphia Chapter with a Merit Award.
