O'Donnell & Naccarato provided structural engineering services for the major renovation and adaptive-resuse of the historic Saint Luke's Hospital, converting the structure into a mixed used building with 137 affordable senior apartments plus office space for non-profits and service organizations.

The 7-story, 300,000+ SF hospital, a National Historic Register building, was built in 1927 and has been shuttered since 1999. It was purchased by Neighborhood Progress in 2006 with the intent of conversion to residential units.

O'Donnell & Naccarato's role included facade restoration along with the design of new building entrances, canopies, stairs, elevators, and support framing for new mechanical systems.
