Nightingale Hospital For Veterinary Surgery

This state-of-the-art 10,000 SF veterinary surgical hospital—New York City’s first and only surgery-exclusive facility—features dedicated orthopedic and soft tissue operating rooms, advanced imaging with CT capabilities, and quiet recovery areas, to support the Hospital for Veterinary Surgery’s mission to deliver surgical excellence and exceptional patient care.

Located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, the project involved the renovation of 10,000 SF across the cellar and ground floor of an existing building, including infill of existing MEP slab openings, new framing for service penetrations, and evaluation and reinforcement for loads imposed by a new UPS system. The facility includes three operating rooms, prep/recovery areas, a radiology suite, CT scanner, six exam rooms, and a large procedure room.
