O’Donnell & Naccarato provided design, documentation, and construction administration services for the 5-story,124,500 SF self-storage facility. The project incorporated a number of building functions including a large, interior ground level parking and loading area, a separate raised dock level area for tractor-trailers, retail office, self-storage space, and an ornamental roof. The structure consists of a combination of perimeter masonry with integral poured concrete tie-beams and columns along with an interior 10×10 steel framed system plus a bar-joist roof. Significant coordination was required to incorporate the unique building exterior component product approvals (NOA’s) coupled with the significant force required for South Florida.
