JOB TITLE:                           ASSOCIATE

LOCATION:                         INDIANAPOLIS

JOB DESCRIPTION:         

Associates at O’Donnell & Naccarato (O&N) oversee projects at a high level and lead project teams consisting of Project Managers, Project Designers, and BIM Modelers. Associates are the primary client contact and are responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships.  Associates are a part of the company leadership team that helps develop and evaluate company operations, programs, and staff. O&N Associates report to the Principals of the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads project teams at a high level and maintains client relationships.
  • Develops project proposals and contracts.
  • Determines project schedules and staffing.
  • Establishes and achieves project financials.
  • Reviews projects documents and specifications.
  • Maintains technical knowledge and develops engineering staff.
  • Assist the firm in the development of new business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or MS in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Licensed PE (Civil – Structural) or SE.
  • Working knowledge of current industry software, including, RAM SS, RAM Concept, PCA. Software and Revit is preferred.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Great interpersonal skills.

JOB TITLE:                          PROJECT MANAGER

LOCATION:                        INDIANAPOLIS

JOB DESCRIPTION:        

Project Managers at O’Donnell & Naccarato (O&N) guide the structural design process and are responsible for coordination with our in-house project team as well as the other design disciplines for numerous projects and project types. They maintain project schedules and ensure project scope, quality, and budget are preserved.  Project Managers provide the highest level of customer service for clients and project team members alike.  O&N operates in a fast-paced consulting environment, and our staff works on numerous projects simultaneously, so organizational and management skills are a must.  O&N Project Managers direct Project Design Engineers and report to the Associates and Principals of the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Structural analysis, design and detailing for all types of buildings and materials.
  • Coordination of design work with clients and fellow design professionals (architects, engineers, and consultants) as well as in-house staff.
  • Lead project management activities, including maintaining quality, client relations, schedule and cost control for all assigned projects.
  • Preparation of construction documents within a BIM environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or MS in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
  • 5-10+ years of experience.
  • Licensed PE (Civil – Structural) or SE.
  • Working knowledge of current industry software, including, RAM SS, RAM Concept, PCA Software and Revit is preferred.

JOB TITLE:                          SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER

LOCATION:                        MIAMI

JOB DESCRIPTION:        

Analyze and design a variety of structural systems and components. Lead the in-house project team, including the efficient production of high-quality construction documents. Coordinate with and maintain positive relationships with project’s client and other design and construction team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Structural analysis
  • Structural design
  • Oversee production of construction documents
  • Work within firm’s QA program to assure project quality
  • Manage project schedule
  • Manage financial performance of project
  • Maintain/enhance relationships with project’s client and other design and construction team members
  • Continue to develop technical knowledge, competence, and project management skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Civil/Structural Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Licensed PE/SE (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of current industry software, such as ETABS, SAFE, ENERCALC, RAM SS, RAM Concept, PCA Software, REVIT and AutoCad is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive interpersonal skills

JOB TITLE:                          STRUCTURAL INSPECTOR

LOCATION:                        MIAMI

JOB DESCRIPTION:        

Perform field inspections of structural components, members and systems for buildings. Systems will include concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, cold-formed steel, masonry, wood and others.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform field inspections.
  • Prepare reports in required/appropriate formats.
  • Follow-up to assure correction of deficient items.
  • Coordinate with contractors.
  • Coordinate with Engineer-of-Record and seek clarification from EOR when appropriate.
  • Schedule activities to satisfy multiple on-going projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum four years experience in on-site structural inspections.
  • At a minimum, candidate must posses at least one of the following credentials:
    • Graduation from a structural/civil engineering program
    • Graduation from an architectural program
    • Passing of NCEES Fundamentals Examination
    • General Contractor’s license in Florida
    • Building Inspector certification in Florida
    • Professional engineering license in Florida
  • Other inspection-related certifications are a plus
