O’Donnell & Naccarato provided structural engineering services for a phased rehabilitation of the 5-level garage, 95,000 SF, cast-in-place pan joist system following a condition assessment that identified severe structural deficiencies at localized areas. The garage is located in the heart of the Old City neighborhood of the city and is heavily utilized, often operating above 95%. O&N identified deteriorated areas and developed detailed restoration drawings and specifications. The rehabilitation consisted of cast-in-place full depth slab replacement, vertical concrete wall and column repairs, overhead concrete beam and joist repairs, and exterior concrete façade repairs.
