Easttown Library & Information Center

Location: Berwyn, PA
Architect: Casaccio Architects

O'Donnell & Naccarato provided structural engineering services for the new 16,000 SF community library and information center located in Berwyn, PA. The library was founded in 1905, and the existing building, constructed in 1955, was in need of major renovations and additions. The decision was made to demolish the existing building and design a modern library with a children's activity room, dedicated reading room, technology center, and 3 meeting rooms of various size, the largest of which accommodates up to 100 people. Each major program areas faces a central, exterior courtyard.
