The Durham office is led by David Blankfard, PE, SE, LEED AP BD+C, Senior Associate and Regional Director for O’Donnell & Naccarato’s North Carolina operations. David brings more than three decades of structural engineering experience and strong professional ties throughout the region. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer in multiple states and has mentored junior engineers and served as a technical resource across disciplines.

David’s North Carolina work spans higher education, healthcare, civic, cultural, and infrastructure projects. With his leadership, our structural engineering firm in Durham pairs O’Donnell & Naccarato’s national capabilities with local knowledge of the Research Triangle and the Carolinas, supporting buildings from initial structural design through renovation and, ultimately, restoration.

The Durham office joins the firm’s offices in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Indiana, and Florida.
